Small-batch Virginia wines crafted with intention.

Created in collaboration with acclaimed local winemaker Joy Ting, Wool Factory Wines is a collection of small-batch wines made with fruit from nearby farms and vineyards. From the beginning, our wines have been created with the table in mind, with the intention of pairing beautifully with the cooking of Executive Chef Tucker Yoder at Broadcloth.

Tucker’s menus change weekly with what is available from the farms and producers around us, and the wines are meant to complement that same sense of place. Each bottle reflects the craftsmanship, character, and abundance of Central Virginia while offering a natural extension of the Broadcloth experience to your own table.

The collection moves from Virginia-grown classics and expressive blends to méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines and vermouths made for cocktails. Together, they tell a story about the place we call home, the people who make it possible, and the pleasure of bringing good wine to the table.

Our Story

Our Current Flock

2025 Sauvignon Blanc

Grown just down the road at Blenheim Vineyards, our 2025 Sauvignon Blanc offers a distinctly Virginia expression of the variety. Barrel-fermented in neutral oak, it leans toward the restrained elegance of French Sauvignon Blanc rather than the bold, tropical style often associated with New Zealand.

Grapefruit, citrus, and lemon verbena brighten the palate, while time in neutral oak lends the wine a rounder texture and added depth. It is a versatile bottle that moves easily from oysters and salads to a place at the table alongside the seasonal cooking at Broadcloth.

2025 Between Ewe & Me White Blend

Between Ewe & Me White is a celebration of what can happen when different varieties come together with intention. Vidal Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc are blended to create a rich, textural white that layers pineapple, pear, and apple over bright, lively acidity.

The wine carries enough weight to stand alongside creamy pasta and buttery seafood while maintaining a fresh, balanced finish. More than a blend of three grapes, it is an expression of the art of bringing distinct elements together to create something greater than any one of them alone.

2025 Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc has long been one of Virginia’s signature red grapes, and our 2025 vintage allows its character to take center stage. Made entirely from Cabernet Franc, the wine offers ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and white pepper, balanced by a structure that gives the wine shape without overwhelming the fruit.

The grapes were open-top fermented and the wine was aged in neutral French oak, allowing the character of the fruit and the place it comes from to remain at the forefront. The result is a classic Virginia red with enough depth for the table and enough balance to enjoy by the glass.

2025 Between Ewe & Me Red Blend

Between Ewe & Me Red brings together Cabernet Franc and carbonic-macerated Chambourcin in equal measure, creating a red wine that is vibrant, approachable, and unmistakably its own.

Raspberry and cherry fruit lead the way, with just enough structure to give the wine depth without weighing it down. It is light enough to chill and easy to enjoy with burgers or pizza, yet substantial enough to accompany roast duck and pork. For anyone who usually reaches for white wine, this is an inviting place to begin exploring red.

Black Sheep

A wine close to home, Black Sheep began long before our doors opened. Our flagship méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine is crafted from 100% Shenandoah Valley Chardonnay from the 2019 and 2020 vintages, connecting the bottle to a place and a history that are deeply rooted in Virginia.

After spending four years on its lees, Black Sheep has developed layers of brioche, citrus, and green apple, with the time and patience of its extended aging evident in every glass. It is a bottle that carries a little history with it, and one we are especially proud to share.

Bitte White Vermouth

“Bitte” means “please” in German, and our white vermouth is designed to make another pour an easy request.

Built on a Chardonnay base and fortified with brandy, Bitte White Vermouth has a lightly sweet palate layered with aromatics of sage, lemon verbena, allspice, coriander, orange peel, and traditional bittering agents. Herbal, citrus-driven, and gently sweet, it can be enjoyed on its own, incorporated into a cocktail, or used wherever a little more aromatic depth is called for.

Bitte Red Vermouth

A cocktail lover’s vermouth, Bitte Red brings together vibrant fruit, spice, and a distinctly Virginia character. A base of Chambourcin and Vidal Blanc is fortified with brandy before being aromatized with star anise, orange peel, grapefruit peel, vanilla, and Grit Coffee.

The result is a vermouth with both richness and complexity, designed to bring depth to classic cocktails while offering plenty of character on its own. Try it in a Manhattan or Boulevardier, where its fruit, spice, and coffee notes have room to shine.
